"Happy Families" Dramatic Reading

Location: LIP/IFI Yogyakarta
Time: 21.00 pm. October 22, 2012

This one is from Indonesian Dramatic Reading Festival program. The five performers (we only see 2 of them, here) are from Teater Stemka Yogyakarta. They read Keluarga-Keluarga Bahagia / Happy Families a drama by Ann Lee (Malaysia/1993). Happy Families tells about stories from four families. The story been delivered by using many different point of views; the children, (and from their) fathers and mothers.

If in theater the performers are make (a lot of) movements and not reading the text, in Dramatic Reading they only sit and read the script for delivering the story.

Eid Day

Location: Oro-Oro Ombo Cemetery, Madiun
Time: August 19, 2012

This what my family, me and my parents, did during Eid day; sent Yasin for our lovely (rip) Aprilia Shintasari.

After having sholat eid together and met neighbours, we went to the cemetery. My parents read Yasin letter for my sister. And I captured their photos.

I thought my sister (if she still alive among us) will understood for what I did (capturin’ my parents pictures). Not only because I and she were ‘rock ‘n roll’ sisters, but also she loved photography (capturing or be captured by).

We miss you, Sister! :)

Reading Everywhere Project

This was her idea. Someday I read and saw about her photo-shot in her blog. She did candid-photo-shot people whom read in everywhere

Nice!

Sometimes I thought Indonesians have a lower reading interest. But, by her pictures I realized that wasn’t, absolutelly, right. I could see a lot of people, actually, love to read. It’s just me that not considered them well.

So, I joined her idea to candidly shot people whom read (in everywhere).

Why I made this blog?

If. If someday some or all the people whom I take the pictures know and ask me; “what are you doing?”

“Taking in your reading activity pictures?”

“What for?”

“I collect pictures that contain people whom love to read everywhere and everytime.”

“Where can I see yours?”

“You can visit my lalivrelire.blogspot.com. :) “

La Livre Lire.

It is Francaise. Meaning “Reading Book”. Actually i want to use a simple title, like; project reading, reading project, etc. But blogspot said that they’ve been used by others. So, I was soo confused.

So I picked from France language. Lire means read. Livre means book. I even not quite sure whether the ‘tenses’ was rite. Hahaha. So do not taking ‘the tenses thing’ seriously, yes? :D
